JOSA Workshop | Hands-on Terraform

In this workshop participants will dive into the process of using Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Participants will learn what IaC is, why it is important in the industry, and how Terraform can be used to write and manage infrastructure. The session will cover the basics of the Terraform language HCL and include a small hands on demo on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). By the end of the workshop, attendees will understand the value of IaC and gain practical skills to start writing infrastructure as code, which is an essential part of a modern DevOps engineer toolkit.

Previous Knowledge Required

Beginner cloud and infrastructure knowledge
Understands what a load balancer does
Familiar with programming

Laptop.
Terraform installed and working.
OCI account if they wish to partake in the demo.
